Do you find most forms of humor revolting? Do you think that having fun is a
waste of an employers time and energy? Does it seem unnatural to you for people to
be having a good time at their place of employment? If so, then this program is
NOT FOR YOU!!!
Actually, it is... but you might not have the right frame of mind to benefit from a
program such as this. But if your competitors do... WATCH OUT! Humans are
unique in that we seek pleasure for pure pleasure's sake. We like having a good
time. And when we are happy we are more energetic, more creative and much more
productive than when we are sad, angry, or otherwise unhappy.
Can you imagine a place where people actually look forward to earning a living because
it doesn't seem like work? What would it be like to have every fellow employee
inventing energetic, fun ways of getting things done? What if... people enjoyed
being there so much that they actually consider the benefits of being there more valuable
than their pay (this isn't a way to eleminate fair wages!) In fact, it can generate
so much more revenue that the cost of implementation outweighs the increase in wages.
You owe it to yourself, your loved ones, your employees and most of all your customers
to create the best place to do business. Creating a fun atmosphere encourages making
friends and as Debra Fine says, "All things being equal, people do business with
their friends... All things not being equal, people still do business
with their friends!"
